Active Clubs
The Active Clubs program provides funding to local and regional sport and active recreation organisations to support volunteers and provide flexible and safe physical activity opportunities to increase sport and active recreation participation.
Active Clubs supports projects of $2,500 (GST exclusive) to encourage greater participation across sport and active recreation, from playing to coaching and volunteering to umpiring and team management.
Organisations select one eligible category as their primary focus but may expend funding on multiple eligible projects across categories. Eligible projects within categories are those that meet the program objectives. These include:
- training and education for volunteers
- volunteer recognition
- equipment (on-field and off-field)
- flexible participation opportunities.
The Active Clubs Round 4 program is now closed.
